How Calorie Burn is Calculated
Calories burned are estimated using MET (Metabolic Equivalent of Task) values. The formula is: Calories = MET x Weight(kg) x Duration(hours). MET values represent the energy cost of an activity relative to rest (MET 1.0). Higher MET values indicate more intense activities. Actual calories burned vary based on fitness level, age, body composition, and exercise intensity.
